The individual on-line confidential interviews with the Directors and CEO, and the focused personal interviews in specific identified areas of review (in our case Financial reporting and Clinical Governance) gave myself as Chair and my colleague directors a comprehensive view of our strengths and the areas of governance where we needed to focus some development attention. Fiona Mercers’ networks also lead us to engage additional individuals in both NSW and Victoria to assist the Board in our key responsibilities around clinical governance.
